Alain Moussi is a Canadian actor, stuntman, and martial artist trained in jujitsu, kickboxing, and karate. He plays the lead role of Kurt Sloane in the reboot of the Kickboxer series, Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016) and Kickboxer: Retaliation (2018), a role that was originated by Jean-Claude Van Damme, who portrays his mentor in the films.

Alain Moussi: I had been training in martial arts for about 20 years, and I also have a martial arts school specializing in combat Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing. A friend of mine who is a stuntman was involved in the film 300 and he knew the fight coordinator for the film IMMORTAL that they were going to be filming in Canada. This was my chance.

Moussi's routine starts with light cardio, hard intervals, foam rolling, and mobility drills. Then he performs Olympic lifts, compound exercises— like the bench press, deadlift, and squat—and a lift with "consequences," such as a pistol squat on a Bosu ball that transitions to a kick.
